Cascades – Gloucester National Park

The Cascades is a lovely place to explore the Lefroy Brook – meander either side of the brook to see it cascading over a series of granite pools or follow the 1.2km loop walk through the surrounding forest. The brook produces rapids over winter and becomes a gently tinkling stream in summer. Lefroy Brook is home to Pouched Lamprey which can be spotted in season and is a popular trout fishing spot.
The Cascades is one of the destinations on the Pemberton Tramway Warren Bridge tour, follow the brook downstream to view one of Pemberton’s timber heritage rail bridges.
National Park entry fees apply. Parking is available for caravans and large vehicles, entry road is sealed.
